Orientation Day and Miami to the Max tour!
Hello!

For now on I will be writing my blog in english. It's good for my development in english and also makes it easier for my international friends to understand. ;-)

This Tuesday we had our registration and Orientation day at school.
So now I'm officially checked in and registered as a EF-student in Miami Beach. Woho!
After registration we had a short information about the school and were introduced to the school director, administrators and others. They seem very nice! By the way...some of the classrooms has got really good views!

After lunch we were a group of almost 10 people going on the Miami to the Max tour!
A tour around South beach and along Ocean drive, Miami downtown, Wynwood walls, Little Havanna, Bayside Marketplace with others.

Miami beach is a very long beach, so you can't really see the end of it when your standing on it.
Nice sand, beutiful and colourful seawater and the temperature is good to ;-)

Ocean drive is beautiful, full with cafés and restaurants. A lot of cars parked along the street, all from beautiful old Bentleys to new shining Ferraris and Lamborghinis.

Miami Beach/South beach is a peninsula while Miami city is located on the mainland. It takes about 30minutes by bus to go downtown. Wynwood walls is located at NW 2nd Avenue in Miami. A beautiful center with graffitiart all over the place! I have som pictuers below. Wynwood is famous for its graffiti. Almost every building and wall were covered in colourful pictures. They also had a memorial graffitiwall for Bob Marley with his face and the text: "Loevism". I really liked that wall. So beautiful.

I will put on more pictures at my Facebookpage - for my friends to see :-)

Little Havanna was very nice to see. You could really feel the Cuba-vibes from the music and the smell of cigarrs. We tried some Cuban icecream - which was very tasty ;)
After that we went to Bayside Marketplace where you could go shopping - a lot of stores everywhere with especially souvenirs. Next to the marketplace we found Hard Rock Café, where we decided to have a cold nice drink insida to get away from the heat and humid outsida. A lot of clothes from ex. Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and others. very nice to see!

So I had a wonderful day and met a lot of new nice people that I'm looking forward to get to know better.

Today its Friday! My first class starts at 14:15 and its raining outside...I mean REALLY RAINING.
We found out that the Hurricane-season just started..But don't worry mom! The school are prepared for everything so you don't need to worry! ;)

So I will probably spend the rest of my free morning inside. Perhaps I'll go for a rainy walk.
This weekend we're talking about going to the Saw Grass Mills shoppingcenter! Its a mall with approx. 300 stores and a lot of brandoutlets. Me like!

More to come another day!

Have a great weekend ya'll! :-)

Kisses and Hugs
