A new adventure begins!
I left Miami Beach during a heavy rain, possibly the worst one during my time there.
Some people said it's because we where leaving, Miami was crying ;-)
It was sad to say good bye to all my new friends, it felt very surreal to go, after staying there for such a long time. But in any way, I really looked forward to go home again and meet my family and friends.

My luggage was as suspected to heavy..but it was more expensive than I thought....100$ per bag that is overweight. Even if it's only a kilo, they charge you 100$, and if you're standing at the airport, going home, there's not many other options than to pay. The first flight was to Barcelona, it felt pretty fast, I didn't sleep at all during the 9 hours, I just couldn't sleep, so I watched a lot of movies instead. In Barcelona we had to wait for 4 hours because of a delay..so we arrived in Gothenburg a bit later than expected. I was annoyed but when we finally reached Sweden, I just didn't care. As soon as I got my luggage I walked with quick steps through the gates to see my family, and that was great. Home sweet home <3

So my Miami chapter is over, it's crazy how fast it has passed by.
However, my adventure will continue. You see, before I went to Miami I lost my job because the company decided to close our local office, so when I left to Miami I had no idea where och what I would be doing after the summer. But I did send in some applications for the University, and luckily I got in! So Mondaymorning, the morning after arriving from US, I attended my first day at CIL's program: International Sales and Marketing. A education part of the Linneaus University. I have worked with sales for a long time and feel that it's something I really enjoy, a way of working with people. So I have now 3 years ahead of me, where the first 3 semesters will be in Ljungby and after that there's a compulsory semester abroad followed by internships somewhere in the world. It feels great to have started, and so far so good, I feel that I have choosen the right way. This means I will stay in Ljungby for at least 1,5 year, then we'll see where the roads might take me.

For those of you who is wondering about my music career, I'm not letting it go. I didn't have a guitar during my stay in US and I truly missed it, but it actually increased my inspiration and now I want to play more then before, so I think it was a useful break. To find out when my next gig is, you can follow me on Instagram, Facebook and so on. https://www.facebook.com/ellinorsingersongwriter/, and ofcourse, my album "When the time is right" is available on Spotify if you can't wait until my next gig :-)

That's all for now!

Over and out from Ljungby, Sweden.
