Hello Weekend!

After a couple of days in school with introduction, meeting new people etc,it's nice to have a weekend off!

Thursdaynight we were a group of people who went out for some drinks at Lincoln Road, very nice to hang out and get to know each other a little better.

Fridaynight me and a new friend, Mariana from Brazil, went to see the new movie "Baywatch" with Dwayne Johson and Zac Efron with others. It was really funny, good humour (even if it was low) ;)

Saturday was a day filled with SHOPPING!! Me, Jennie, Anouk and Mariana went to the Saw Grass Mills Shoppingcenter in Sunrise, about an hour northwest from Miami. It was huge! Around 300 stores, a lot of brand like Michael Kors, Gucci, Prada, Calvin Klein and others, with outletprices. We like!

So yes, I've spent som money...I bought a weekendbag at Michael Kors - but in my defence it was 60% off ;-)

Perfumania, Victoria Secret, Gap and Converse were some of the stores we visited. I've decided to take a break from shopping for a while - or at least until my next salary comes ;-)

Today (Sunday), me, Anouk, Mariana and Huwei went to the Everglades to see some Alligators and Crocodiles! We were lucky to see 4 crocodiles in the swamp and then a lot of alligators in a alligatorshow after the airboat-trip. It was cool, I got a flashback from the movie "The Police Academy in Miami Beach". Nostalgic! ;) Everglade is a National Park located 45min west of Miami. There are many different kind of animals there but the crocs and the alligators are the most famous ones.

When I got back to campus I went out for my second run this week. It was a little bit windy and rain - which was wonderful and made the exercise so much easier to complete. My aim is to run minimum 2 times per week all summer. And so far this weekend is completed ;-)
