Hi there! 

 

At the time of writing, I'm sitting in my bed trying to not move because I have a terrible pain in my neck. Almost 2 days now and no painkillers helps. It's good that my lessons ended at 11:05 today so I could go and rest in my room this afternoon. I was supposed to go to the gym but that's not a good idea with a stiff neck and dizzy head.

 

The time flies overhere so you'll have all of last weeks story in here! :D

 

Monday was a very calm day since we spent all the weekend in Orlando. The sun was shining so we spent some time at the beach just relaxing. We've finally got some answers from the tourcompany concerning our complaints. It's a long story, but we got 100$ in refund after a long discussion. But I can tell you this - Do NOT book Supertours if you're doing a tour in Florida. 

 

On Tuseday, the sunn was shining so we spent some more time at the beach - finally starting to get a tan ;-) 

Since the weather was so good, me and Mariana decided to go to South Point to see the sunset. But at the time we got there the sky turned dark and we could see some crazy lightning by the horizon, a storm was on its way. So we just took some photos by the pier then we ran to the nearest avenue to get an Uber before the rain would start to fall. We managed to get home but then the sky started to fall. But at least we had a nice evening! :)

 

Wednesday - we decided to go out!

Me, Mariana, Jennie and Amanade went to Lincoln road to get a nice cocktail some where and ended up at "Sugars factory" who had a happy hour - we bought one drink and got the other one for free! Very good deal! 

After some chitchating and good drinks, we went to Bed and drinks bar/hostel. We paid 10$ then we got open bar for 1 hour at the bar before we and a lot of other funny people were picked up by the "Partybus" that took us to the club. It was crazy! Music and dancing on the bus - so much fun. Then we got to club LIV - some people call it one of Miami Beach's best and most fancy club, but I don't know if I agree...anyway. In the club we got a VIP-table with free drinks for another hour and then we just danced, all night until 2-isch.

Then I was tired...so me and Mariana took a taxi home, with a detour to Walgreens to get some "night-food" ;) 

Thursday - early morning 8:15 - 11:05 then I had the afternoon off, spent some time at the beach and then later on me and Jennie took the citibikes to south point, cause today the sun was shining again so we wanted to see the sunset. But no..also this evening, the clouds came in so we couldn't se any sun..bu we got a nice walk through South point park and continued to Lincoln road where we found a BIG SALE on Victoria Secret - so we went in to have a look, and also H&m, Forever 21, the stores here are open until midnight or something...crazy, but good if you have forgotten something in the evening ;) 

So after some shopping we went back to school to go to sleep. 

 

 

Friday - today I bought myself a membership at a gym nearby. Randy, one of the staff-members at EF wanted to find a gym too, so we decided to go there together. So 1,5 hours exercise - felt good! My first lesson didn't start until 14:15 so it was a nice morgning. My last lesson ended at 17:05, so we didn't do so much, just had dinner and went to the room. I was so tired so I just went to bed with my computer and watched a couple episodes of "That 70s show". Around 23:30, i decided to put my computer down and just when I had turned off the light, what do you think happend?? Yeah, the FIREALARM started to shout out...4th time since we came to Miami..and all of them during the night? Why!? We never know if someone is joking or if it's a practise, so ofcourse we go out - as we're supposed to...but apparently it was another "practise".....and that's just not okay according to me. So after spending sometime outside we could go back in, and ofcourse we are never allowed to use the elevators after firealarm, so we had to walk upp to 6th floor again. Good night-exercise.

 

Saturday - Finally a morning to sleep in, followed by brunch. I was supposed to go to Fort Lauderdale with Mariana and some of her friends, but I changed my plans cause I was to tired that day. So instead me and Jennie went to the pool for a couple of hours, sunbathing and jumping into the pool, i love our backyard B-)

Then we took the citibikes to Ocean drive to go and find "Pinkberry", a icecream shop my brother's girlfriend recommended. It was so good, expensive..but so good. I got a chocolate-hazelnut icecream with some strawberries at the top. Yummy! Then we walked over to Lincoln road and got ourselves a manicure. So now the nails we're ready for another night out! Yes indeed! We decided to go out Saturdaynight but this night the promoter's offer was club Space in downtown. It was as cool as it sounds, I promise. Space was the theme of the club, you could tell when you got in and saw all the decorations. We got a VIP lounge this night aswell with free drinks. Which you think can be something bad, but I was in a very good mood this night and danced..A LOT! And it was so much fun, met a lot of nice people.

 

 

Sunday - a chill day I can promise you that. After brunch I skyped with my younger brother and then my parents and sister, it's always nice to see them. Miss them a lot sometimes, but time flies, I mean my 4th week has already started! After skype me and Jennie went to the beach - there were some BIG waves that day, I almost felt a bit seasick...so after some "wave-rolling" we went to the pool to get away from the sand for a while. I fell a sleep, not a good idea even if it's cloudy cause here in Miami - the sun hits you anyway! So at the evening I noticed a non-nice redness on my back, but that went away until today thanks to Hawaiian Tropic Aftersun! Sundayevening was very chill, just had some dinner and then I got stuck with a movie on Netflix before going to sleep. 

 

Today I've finally started the Cambridge progam! We we're only 2 students, because the rest of them comes tomorrow. But it was good, more challenging - which is exactly what I want so I look forward to these 10 weeks.I found out that the Cambridge exam is in the morning on the 26th of August - the day I go home. It's good that I don't fly home until 18:00 at the evening so I will have the time to complete the test. But NOW "last-night-in-miamibeach-party" on the 25th, I promise you that... ;-) 

 

That's all for now. This week it's  Midsummer in Sweden, so me and Jennie are talking about going to IKEA maybe, and see if we can get some "Swedish feeling". We'll see.
